Catching a train
The nearest train and metro stations are Epping and Macquarie University Station respectively, which are a short bus ride to the school or a 15 min walk.

Concession Entitlement Card
To be eligible, you must be either:
- Full-time students aged 16 years and older need a Transport Concession Entitlement Card to pay concession fares.
- Enrolled in a NSW or ACT secondary school or non-government secondary school.
- Registered as a full-time home-schooled or distance education student with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
- An international school student who meets the criteria.
How to apply:
Students are required to report to the front office to complete the card application process.
Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
Parking on school grounds
Parking is available for staff and visitors only in the main car park off Vimiera Road during 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. Parents are not to enter the school to drop off or pick up students at the start and end of the school day.
Use of Private Motor Vehicles by Students
If a student wishes to drive a personal motor vehicles to school, parents/carers must complete a "Use of Private Motor Vehicles by Students Form". The form can be found under Forms in the School Bytes Parent Portal.

If your son/ward decides drive a Private Motor Vehicle he must understand:
- Any use of motor vehicles by students, including parking at approved times on the school site, is a privilege that may be withdrawn at any stage by the Principal.
- Cars can be driven to or from school by students only with parental consent.
- No student is permitted to drive to and from sport.
- Student drivers are expected to conform to the road rules at all times and ensure that no more passengers are carried than are provided for by fitted seat belts. The student’s licence number must be recorded at the school.
- No student may travel as a passenger in a car driven by another student to or from school without written parental consent.
- Vehicles must have a current registration and current Comprehensive or Third Party Property insurance. The registration number, insurance policy number and the name of the insurance company must be recorded at the school.
- Other rules relating to parking and visiting vehicles at this school or elsewhere must be adhered to.
Riding a bicycle/E-Bike to school
Students may wish to ride bicycles to and from school. Prior to riding bicycles to school, parents/carers must complete a "Riding a Bicycle to School Permission Form" or "Riding an E-Bike to School Permission Form". The form can be found under Forms in the School Bytes Parent Portal.

If your son/ward decides to ride his bike he must:
- Understand it is a privilege that may be withdrawn at any stage by the Principal.
- Wear an RMS approved helmet at all times; one that is a correct fit for the wearer.
- Be a responsible rider and adhere to RMS traffic rules whilst riding to and from Epping Boys High School.
- Securely house his bike in the designated bike compound during school hours.
- Take full responsibility for his behaviour whilst riding to and from Epping Boys High School.
- Dismount from bike upon entering school grounds.
- If riding an E-Bike, the school is unable to provide a safe place for these to be stored. Students are to secure them OFF SCHOOL GROUNDS
