Science
Science is mandatory for all students from Year 7 to Year 10.
The aim of Science in Years 7-10 is to develop students':
- develop students’ curiosity about, and interest in, science and the natural world
- increase students’ knowledge and understanding of the nature and practice of science, and the Working scientifically processes
- encourage students to generate and analyse data, evaluate results, and make ethical, evidence-based decisions, as informed, reflective and scientifically literate citizens.
Science offers a range of engaging opportunities for students to experience success and challenge themselves.
The study of Science is mandatory in Years 7-10. This also provides students with the opportunity to develop the foundational knowledge and skills necessary should they choose to study Science in Years 11 and 12.
Students may elect to study up to 6 units (3 courses) of Science in Years 11 and 12.

- Biology
- Chemistry
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Investigating Science
- Physics
