Epping Boys High School High School has a long and rich history in sporting success which dates back to the school’s beginnings.

Students at Epping Boys High School participate in weekly sport every Wednesday afternoon. Students can opt to play grade sport or social sport. Epping Boys competes in the North Western Metropolitan Boys Zone against six other schools in the area. The year is split into two seasons; summer and winter. Students can trial for grade teams and represent the school in sports such as

Students who choose social sport can partake in activities at school or in the local area such as Tennis, Basketball, Ice Skating, fitness training, Parkour, Badminton, Futsal, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Squash and Lawn Bowls.

The school runs Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals where students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events. Successful students can also follow the representative pathway in these sports, being potentially selected to compete at Zone, Sydney North, NSWCHS, NSW All Schools and School Sport Australia levels.

Epping Boys High School also enters teams in various New South Wales Combined High School State-wide Competitions, as well as other external competitions run by various sporting governing bodies. The school has won numerous state championships over the years, including the Alan Davidson Shield in Cricket, and the Puma Cup in Football.

Students also have the opportunity to attend selection trials for Sydney North and NSWCHS representative teams. Epping Boys has had Australian Schoolboy representatives in the past in sports such as Rugby, Football and Water Polo.
