Canteen Service
Epping Boys High School's Canteen is operated by a subcommittee of Epping Boys P&C. The purpose of the canteen is to provide an affordable, healthy food service for students. Profits earned are returned to the P&C to be spent on the school and to benefit students.
The canteen operates 5 days per week during term time. The P&C employs the Canteen Manager, Ms Simone Ovens and casual assistants as necessary with the help of parent volunteers during the service times.

Teachers and visitors may purchase items outside the above times. Students may access the canteen outside these times with teacher's permission. For example: "early leavers" for school sports.
Payment options
- Cash payment over the counter at time of purchase
- EFT-POS payment over the counter at time of purchase for orders over $2.50
- Online pre-ordering using Flexischools
Boys who come to school without cash or card can arrange a meal on credit with the Canteen Manager. The credit debt amount should be re-paid the following school day. Unpaid debts will be recovered from parents via the school. Alternatively, parents can pay by EFT-POS by calling the Canteen Manager (outside service times, please).

You will need to register an account to place an online order.
Flexischools charges a small processing fee. Students who order their lunch using Flexischools ensure they get what they want rather than missing out after standing in a queue at lunchtime. Online orders are ready for collection at the start of lunch and available from a priority window at the canteen.
Healthy school canteen menu
The up to date menu is available via Flexischools which includes all the daily specials and seasonal specials (such as freshly made soup).
The menu is a mix of packaged foods and fresh foods, prepared on-site from fresh and frozen ingredients.
Sushi orders are available via Flexischools for Tuesday (order cut-off Monday 3 pm) and Thursday (order cut-off Wednesday 1 pm). Sushi is prepared fresh off-site and delivered shortly before the lunch service.
Halal and certified halal options are indicated in the menu available on Flexischools.
If a student has specific dietary needs or if their favourite sandwich is not on the menu, please ask the Canteen Manager whether it can be made up specially.
Book packs, aprons, safety glasses, water bottles, sports bags
A number of non-food items are available for sale over the counter or online.
