Charities

Epping Boys High School is very involved in raising funds for numerous charities. At Epping Boys High School we believe in developing students' awareness beyond themselves. Raising money for charity is an excellent way of giving back to the community and instilling positive values. Students are actively involved in volunteering and contributing in positive ways to their local community and the global community.

Each year group is responsible for raising money for designated charities. For example Year 11 is involved in raising funds and supporting the Nui Dat kindergarten in Vietnam; Year 12 raises money for Oxfam; Year 9 raises money for Stewart House.

The SRC maintains ongoing support to our long-standing charities: World Vision Australia, supporting three male students; 40-hour Famine; Lion's Club; and Ryde Hospital.

Whole school fund raising activities include the Charity Eisteddfod, Bandana Day for Canteen, Jeans for Genes, Wesley Food Drive, Starlight Foundation, Red Cross, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Pink Ribbon Day, 65 roses for Cystic Fibrosis. All money raised goes towards these and other charities.
