Students' Representative Council

SRC Mission Statement

The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of Epping Boys High School aims to serve and represent the student body by providing a diplomatic channel for the voicing of student ideas and opinions, supporting students in co-curricular involvement, improving school facilities, ongoing support of three World Vision children, supporting local charities and serving the broader community.

The teacher overseeing the SRC is Mr David Monsted. Members of the SRC of Epping Boys High School are elected solely by the student body.

  • Twelve representatives from Year 7, two from each class
  • Four representatives from Years 8 and 9
  • Five representatives from Year 10
  • Six representatives from Year 11

The SRC each year raises money through fundraising in order to run successful events like the annual Charity Eisteddfod.

 The SRC also each year:

  • Supports three children in Sri Lanka, Mongolia and Cambodia, through World Vision;
  • Supports children in the Westmead Children's Hospital;
  • Raises funds for Canteen through Bandana Day;
  • Raises funds through the Adidas School Fun Run.

The SRC meet every Tuesday morning in order to organise events or become aware of issues that are prevalent in their year groups.

A new initiative by the students in recent years has been to raise awareness of male health issues.
